Curating the Details

As a couple (or more) planning your wedding celebration, it is easy to get lost in the hub-bub of a huge undertaking. From the cost of a celebration, to the guest list, to finding the perfect venue - the big-ticket items can take up a lot of energy and planning.

But, we are here to say that the beauty is in the details.

Every couple celebrating takes a blank canvas - your venue and your date - and transforms it into a personalized celebration of their love for each other.

We recently worked on a wedding that the couple spent countless hours curating the details to perfection for THEM. LeeAnn and Cade were married on March 9, 2025 at Avalon Legacy Ranch in McKinney, TX with the perfect fusion of classic rustic beauty tied in with their love of music.

L & C's coordinator, Renee, was at the venue early, working on it's transformation, using carefully selected elements to bring L&C's vision to life. Even with the rainy morning and cooler temps, the day was already shaping up to be perfect.

While the gentlemen enjoyed some time in the downstairs space of the venue, complete with a poker table, the ladies worked on hair and make-up upstairs while we snatched the personal details to photograph. Why are these pictures important? We believe in telling a story about you as a couple, and the items you choose are important to you. These photos create stunning stories.

The rain broke around 11am (we had two full days including some hail), and the venue staff went to work drying off the ceremony space while the double-column floral arch was placed, and disco-ball planters set to line the aisle.

When you feel overwhelmed with your planning, take a moment to focus on one small detail. Make it fit YOU and your aesthetic. As storytellers, we love when you do.
